Tomorrow—January 1—be sure to check out Roxy Mews's guest post at Magical Musings.

If you haven't read Twyla's New Years' Eve store, now's the time!

The Bite of Silence (Biting Love Book 3, a novella)
Spartans do it with discipline.

Times Square on New Year's Eve. A million partiers chanting the final seconds. This year, it's a countdown to death.

My name is Twyla Tafel and I've uncovered an insane plot to unleash berserk vampires on those unsuspecting revelers. I have to stop it, armed only with my great admin skills, my useless art degree—and Nikos, a severely hot vampire who I'd love to photograph as a Spartan king roaring his muscular challenge at the Persians.

But Nikos has issues, if you know what I mean. Roadblocks in his psyche that say stop when all I want is go-go-go. See "severely hot", above.

Although if I finally break through Nikos's reserve, I may get more than I bargained for. He's seriously big, seriously built, and more than just a tad dominant. Still, it's time to push my limits and find out who I really am, so I'm willing to try…I think. I'm sure. I'm mostly sure. Until he starts stalking me with those sable bedroom eyes and long, sharp fangs?!

Material Safety Warning: Contains 50% high-voltage sex by volume. 10g seriously hot Greek vampire, 4g curvy, competent heroine, 7g explosive action and gritty language. Made on equipment used to process snarky comments. Some light bondage may occur during handling.

3 Great Lines You Won't Want to Miss

What's better than getting 10 stories for a dime a piece? How about 10 stories for 8 1/2 cents each?

From Hot Off the Press: Leigh inherits her family's newspaper, but she must work with her enemy, David, to save it.

"He gave you the paper. And I know it doesn't mean much to you, but it means the world to me."
"It means more to me than you think. And there's something you're forgetting."
 David frowned.
"He also gave me this. You and me, working together. That was no accident." She squeezed his hand and brushed it against her lips. The air between them grew so heavy her knees threatened to buckle. She wanted to feel his mouth against hers again – consequences be damned.
"No. I think that was meant for me." He smiled and the chaos in his eyes gave way to something darker. Hotter. He placed a gentle kiss on her lips and pulled back, his gaze never leaving hers. His mouth curled into a seductive smile. "It was definitely meant for me – " He pulled her into him, and his mouth crashed down on hers, harder, more demanding.

From Romancing the Seas: Pippa Renshaw swaps her job in a prestigious London restaurant to head-chef on a cruise ship, where a mix-up means she rooms with her boss.

And from my own Edie and the CEO: Championing the little guy gets Edie Rowan in delightful trouble with sexy CEO Everett Kirk.

Edie exchanged a murderous look with Bethany. But they both trailed Kirk to the conference room.
As soon as Edie shut the door, Kirk whirled and snapped, “You two bicker like small children. You’re managers. Act like it.”
Edie jerked straight as if she’d been slapped. “Yes, sir. My apologies, sir.”
“No sarcasm, please.” His narrowed eyes could have sliced steel. “You’re pushing the line already.”
Bethany said, “If you ask me, she’s not only pushing the line, she crossed it and rubbed it out after her.”
“Nobody asked you,” Edie and Kirk said at the same time. Edie gave him a surprised look.
He simply nodded. “You were explaining the music. Please continue.”
Edie took a calming breath. She wasn’t trying to get fired but tact wasn’t her strong suit. Honesty was. “My team is working really hard with an impossible deadline. They were burning out. So I made up a little contest to re–energize them. I challenged them to write a music program before I did.”
Bethany broke in with undisguised glee. “She should spend less time playing at programming and more time working at managing.”
Kirk cut her out of the conversation simply by turning his shoulders on her.
Edie was grudgingly impressed. Not by the breadth of those shoulders. By Bethany actually shutting up. Although those shoulders, besides blocking Bethany’s scowl, obliterated half the conference room. No. Not gaping at his shoulders, or his strong lithe body, or his clean, rugged jaw. Definitely not falling under the spell of the gleaming intelligence in his eyes… She slammed hers shut.
Only to drag in the scent of male heat and power instead.
She tried to stop breathing. Choked. Her eyes snapped open.
He was watching her, irises so bright they were almost silver. Steel blue, emphasis on steel—Kirk used his eyes the way other men used swords. That gaze made her want to cower, to run for cover…bed covers, rolling under them in the dark, hot and sweaty…
She covered her face with both hands.

When it comes to falling in love, nothing beats a tough man with a tender touch. He's sexy, he's intriguing, he's confident, he's loyal, and you'll enjoy every pulse-pounding moment you spend with these heroes after your own heart.

Rehab is for Witches Tour!

Rehab is for Witches Anthology
Various Authors
Published By- SideStreet Cookie Publishing
Publication Date- October 31st, 2014

Welcome to Little Raven: an unsullied, beautiful woodland hamlet in the heart of the Midwest. The sort of place where furry creatures romp about and spend their days bursting into song.
Actually, that’s a giant pack of lies.
Little Raven is a town…for witches.
And some of those witches might have bent the rules. A teensy bit. When six magical miscreants dabble with black magic, they end up together at Incantations, the town’s rehab center for witches gone awry. It’s a slap on the wrist for naughty witches. Pretty much a daycare center so they don’t wander off and start turning people into newts on a whim. Each witch must work through her addiction to black magic, and follow the tenets designed to lead them back to the path of the straight and narrow, as boring as that sounds. Even if following the tenets sucks worse than a group round of kum-bay-ya. Which sucks. Horribly.
We will admit we are powerless over magic—that our lives have become unmanageable.
We will make a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of the Goddess as we understand Her.
We will make a searching and fearless moral and magical inventory of ourselves.
We will admit to the Goddess, to ourselves, and to another being the exact nature of our magical wrongs.
We will make a list of all persons or beings we have harmed, and become willing to make amends to them all.
We will make direct amends to such beings whenever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
We are entirely ready to bow before the Goddess and have Her remove all our defect of character, even at the risk of being entirely stripped of our magic.
But this is just the start. There’s something rotten in Little Raven, something that seeks to take all the magic it can, and devour the inhabitants in the process. It will take the strength and power of all the witches to defeat the darkness seeping into their town, beat it back, and be rid of it forever…and maybe just make it through rehab while they’re saving the world.
