The winner will receive his or her choice of one Biting Love ebook (including Biting Oz)
*or* a $5 gift certificate from Amazon or Samhain!
If you're a 18+ and an adult, and if you consent to having your name
listed on the rotating 12-month winner list, just comment on this post

contain explicit sex and violence. If you win please consider that
when making your prize selection. Winner chosen at the end of the
month and posted as part of next month's contest.
And July's winner is -- shadow! Congratulations shadow! I'll be contacting you at the email you left about your prize.
This is a great idea! I'm excited to read your entire series. A spin-off Wizard of Oz musical and Vampires? What's not to love.

Not to mention a vampire stealing the stage as the Wicked Witch...oops, I may have said too much :) Thanks for the kind words!
DeleteI just got through reading OZ Bites, and it was so fun. Up next for me is Biting OZ.
ReplyDeleteHappy Release Week Mary!

Hey Cathy! Thanks so much for your good wishes! Biting Oz has some new things--a few entr'actes from Glynn's point of view, and the first-ever meeting of the v-spouses of Meiers Corners. It was fun to sit them all down at the same table and play them off each other :)
DeleteHi! Thank you so much again! You made my night! :) Thank you! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYou're so very welcome, Shadow! Congratulations on winning last month's giveaway!
DeleteCongrats Shadow. I can't wait for Biting Oz to release. I'm so excited for it. Any more in the series after that one?
ReplyDeleteHey, Joanne! Thanks for your kind words!
DeleteMore in the series--yes, absolutely. As the matter of fact, I had a breakthrough yesterday on Beauty Bites, slated to be Biting Love Book 6. That's the story of Twyla's cousin Synnove and Ric, which also has a rather spectacular vampire-fact reveal in it, and also gives me a vehicle for Twyla finally getting her Happily-Ever-After with Nikos. I'd finished the first draft and wasn't completely satisfied with the ending. With much of my time going toward launching Biting Oz, I didn't think I'd make any progress. Oh, I kept trying. My whiteboard is edge-to-edge writing and I have pages and pages of notes scattered around the house.
Then I realized I was going a little too by-the-book, switched things up a bit, and boom! the lead-in to the climax unblocked. Then I realized why I wasn't happy with the end--because it *wasn't* the end. Synnove's internal dilemma was solved but Ric's external one was only half-solved. So now Synnove drags the baddie off for a final comeuppance.
After that, I finally get back to Rocky's story. Poor Rocky, she's been waiting around since 2010 for her vampire :)
Thanks for the giveaway. I would love to be counted in. The Bites series sounds awesome.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words, Tamsyn!
