Definitely going to have to revisit this idea--and watch out for my filter words, lol.

Rex Stout was an amazing writer. I didn't expect to be as captivated when I reread the stories, but I was actually more impressed.Mary Hugheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05577819467071687389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7359925604131312233.post-61461371047776107742015-10-28T15:25:47.452-05:002015-10-28T15:25:47.452-05:00Hi Stephanie! In the first example, I'm with Stephanie--lose the "thought". In the second example, I like the second option. Hope that helps.
--Judy S
j dot stonewright at gmail dot comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7359925604131312233.post-74864788857810385342015-10-28T10:53:34.847-05:002015-10-28T10:53:34.847-05:00I'm not going to be much help I'm afraid. ...I'm not going to be much help I'm afraid. lol In the first example I prefer the first sentence, minus the 'thought'. It's the editor in me I'm sure but like the vagueness of the rest of the sentence.
But in the second example, I prefer the second example. It maybe the content itself but I like the crystal clear 'tell' of it.
Would a mixture work for you?Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02550939635943882301noreply@blogger.com
